Description
The Business Analyst is responsible for supporting the heads of Client Service Delivery with transparency around financial data supplied by finance, business analysis and decision support designed to improve growth and profitability and higher returns for the BNY Mellon. This is accomplished by working collaborately with the financial controllers through the financial planning and forecast process that includes cost drivers and key business measures. Analyst will provide value added technical and business support across projects that can vary in scope and complexity with minimal guidance. Partner with finance team to provide transparency around capital planning, allocations and other costs that will help transform the CSD landscape. Analyze and understand business functions to help automate and improve business processes/applications as well its cost structure to create and establish operations metrics and business and client report cards. Competent to work in some phases of systems analysis. Will typically function as a liaison between a business unit and finance and technology, but on occasion act as the primary liaison and lead the project. The incumbent will be develop and deliver presentations, provide market research on CSD clients and projects to assist in business analysis.
Qualifications
B.A./B.S. 4 - 6 year's experience within financial services operations with a strong understanding of the process or processes in the business unit. MBA preferred.
